Emily came to us in 2012 as a potential dog for an older adult. She had lived with an elderly gentleman for her whole life and was not wanted by his family when he went into a facility. SHe was well cared for just living in a house by herself and being let out several times a day. SHe has lived here for about 2 years and would rather live with less dogs. She has lived with cats and probably wouldn't mind another canine in her life but there are too many here for her. She has the right for a bit if "space' but it at times hard to come by here. SHe is crate trained, can be a counter surfer, but has learned to keep her feet off things here. She is a quiet older girl who deserves more attention that she gets here- she would make someone a great companion So if you have room in your heart and home for her- she deserves to spend her senior years being doted on- but don't tell her she's a senior- she doesn't know it!
