Hi! My name is Hannah, and I am a super friendly, ?happy-go-licky? (tee-hee!), 1 year old, 40 pound (so small!), very sweet Great Pyrenees/Lab mix! I was rescued from a very high-kill shetler in rural KY, and at the time I was emaciated and quite ill. Turns out I had Parvo, which can be fatal to younger dogs (and sometimes even dogs my age), but luckily I got good veterinary care and made a full recovery! Once I was well enough to travel, the nice ?doggy underground railroad? brought me to my new foster home with Cayuga Dog Rescue and I have been having a great time ever since!
The main thing to know about me is that I?m very loving and sweet and adore being around people. I follow my foster parents around from room to room and am so happy when they can work from home and hang out with me! My favorite is when we get to all sit on the couch together and hang out!
I?ve still got lots of puppy energy and puppy delightfulness in me, and while I enjoy being busy and active, I also do some hardcore napping! I love going for walks and runs, and I have big play sessions (all by myself!) with my toys! I throw them up in the air and chase them around and crack up my foster parents!
I didn?t know a thing when I arrived here?not even to ?sit!? I am enjoying being taught new things and new house manners by my foster parents, and already I am doing well with Sit and Stay! I like the attention that comes with training, but also love the treats. I love all kinds of treats, especially peanut butter-filled Kongs and any kind of rawhide or bully stick. I am really good with other dogs, but have not had a chance to get to know any cats yet. I have a sunny, happy disposition and will make a great companion for my forever owners!
